Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
These soft and chewy cookies are a delicious vegan treat that are surprisingly simple to make.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup vegan milk
- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together vegan butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in vanilla extract and vegan milk until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in vegan chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
